Das wird evtl. teuer. Wenn Du z.B. einen ISDN Router seinen 
syslog an die Haupstelle schreiben läßt. 
Immer wenn die Leitung abfällt, wird "hangup" in den syslog geschrieben...

Nichts gegen remote logging, aber gerade im Netzwerkbereich 
ist das manchmal ziemlich unpraktisch.
