aha... hab daraufhin jetzt mal weiterprobiert und den Fehler
gefunden: ich hab als Terminal immer wterm genommen und dem als
Option gleich "-tn xterm" mitgegeben, was dessen TERM Variable
auf xterm setzt. Nachdem ich die Option rausgenommen habe
(default ist TERM=rxvt) funktioniert's. Das kommt davon wenn man
zuviel customized :-)
