Sondertasten-Funktion in screen

Hi,
ich lese meine Mail mit mutt in screen. Lästig finde ich dabei,
daß die "Pos1" und "Ende" Tasten nicht funktionieren (ja sicher
geht das ohne im vi, aber mit wäre noch schöner ;-) )
Das Problem läßt sich zwar mit einem "term xterm" in der
.screenrc umgehen, aber dann macht mutt auf der Console
Darstellungsfehler... und ein "term linux" hilft leider auch
nicht. 
Hat jemand das Problem als solches erkannt und gelöst? Ich
fürchte es läuft auf Änderungen des terminfo Zeugs hinaus 8-(
