Alternative zu ipac-ng

Mal ne allgemeine Frage. Ich nutze apt nicht da ich ein lfs
aufgesetzt habe. Kann aber sein daß ich aus Faulheit in
Zukunft wieder auf was Debian-basiertes wechsle.

Sollte man sich bei einem apt-beasiertes System configure+make
grundsätzlich verkneifen oder kommt es damit klar?
