wegen einer Protokoll-Erweiterung, die sich XAUTH nennt, und mit der 
man Nutzer authentifizieren kann, anstatt nur Rechner.
Und die kann halt (soweit ich weiß) außer dem Cisco-Client nur der 
vpnc. (solange man keine andere genauso proprietäre und meist sogar 
kostenpflichtige Software einsetzen will).
