Versenden von e-mails mit sendmail & mutt über GMX scheitert

Hallo,

ich versuche gerade, sendmail und mutt zu konfigurieren.

Das Abrufen und Lesen von mails mit fetchmail & mutt funktioniert. Das
Versenden von e-mails mit mutt & sendmail klappt nicht.

GMX schickt, sobald ich eine Mail versende, folgende E-Mail zurück:

550 5.1.8 {mx069} cannot resolve your domain 
......

Ins Internet komme ich per ppp-Dialup.

Durch Surfen habe ich den Hinweis erhalten, dass GMX versucht, meine
Absender-Domain per DNS aufzulösen, woraus (wohl) zu schliessen ist, dass
GMX wie ein ganz normaler E-Mail-Server angesprochen wird, während ich ja
eigentlich über meinen GMX-Account e-mails verschicken will. Das scheint
aber nicht zu klappen.

Weiß jemand Rat (z.B. einen Link, in dem die Zusammenhänge erläutert
werden?)

Nachstehend folgt meine sendmail.mc. Ich habe in der vorgeschlagenen
Proto-mc die Zeile smarthost ergänzt.
