alpha stockt

Moin zusammen,
ich habe auf einem alpha (debian woody) ein ssh Problem. Wenn ich eine
ssh Verbindung längere Zeit offen lasse ohne was darin zu machen,
reagiert sie nicht mehr. Die Sitzung friert einfach ein. Die session
steht noch in der Prozessliste und ich kann auch noch neue Verbindungen
zum sshd aufmachen. Das sieht mir so aus, als wenn der Kern die Sitzung
einfach vergessen würde. Hat jemand einen Tip an welcher Stelle ich mal 
gucken soll?
