OT: Kann Postgres stored Procedures?

Und MySQL ist irgendwie anders als andere Datenbanken. PostgreSQL
z.B. ist deutlich näher an Oracle, Sybase etc. dran vom Handling 
her und angeblich auch von den Stored Procedures her als MySQL.
Die Performance soll auch nicht mehr soo viel schlechter sein
und stable ist das allemal.
