Das Modul wurde beim schritt von 2.2 auf 2.4 umbenannt. In der
/etc/default/pcmcia solltest du 

PCIC="yenta_socket"

durch 

PCIC="i82365"

ersetzen. Der i82365 ist der Treibername für den 2.2er.
