Empfehlungen für console UI lib?

Hi,
ich möchte ein Programm mit einem Console basierten UI bauen.
Standard für sowas ist ja wohl curses/ncurses, aber gibts noch
Alternativen? Erfahrungen?

Was ich brauche: 
* Mit Ansi-Zeichen gezogene Linien
* Farbige Zeichen
* evtl. Buttons, kann ich mir aber auch selbst bauen
* einfache Cursorpositionierung a la Pascals gotoxy Befehl ;-)

Was ich nicht will:
* Fenstermanagement
* Mausbedienung
