Gimp 1.1.18 hatte ein tierisches Memory-Leak beim Speichern von
Gifs und noch bei ein paar anderen Sachen, das ist bekannt. In
der 1.2 bin ich noch auf keine Probleme gestossen, du solltest
also einfach updaten und deine Probleme sind geloest.
