Du solltest schon nen "gcc" und "binutils" installiert haben - Ausserdem
die kde development libs.

Dem configure script kann man aber einen anderen compiler (soweit man einen
hat) vorwerfen ...

CC=pgcc ./configure --prefix=/usr/local 

z.b. ... Wenn da nix hilft - Dann schau mal nach was das configure
script dem "gcc" als parameter mitgibt an welchen pfaden er nach den
kde libs sucht ... Evtl sind die nicht identisch zu den paths auf deinem
system ...
