hi..
wo wir grade bei dem Thema sind: Mein Laptop (Compaq LTE 5100) hat das 
gleiche Problem. Ist nur Linux drauf, und die Plattengeometrie
kann ich im Bios nicht ändern (Compaq eben...). Eine IDE-Platte,
810MB, mit einer primären und einer extended Partition, die
primäre am Anfang der Platte und "bootable" geflaggt. Sonst
nichts dran am IDE-Bus. Mir fällt dazu bald nichts mehr ein,
sieht doch eigentlich alles richtig aus... hat noch jemand eine
Idee?
